The project of the motor case was developed on 3D modeling and on a Fem and Thermal analysis process.
In fact, this component has to withstand to the static loads of the product itself, and to dynamic given by the movement of the inner rotor. Moreover, sudden heat variations can create deformations and issues during the process, for these reasons designing of the fins surfaces was made with thermal analysis.
The final model was designed in order to be cast, this includes all the secondary processes needed to obtain a good joint with the other components.
