In order to test the door handle’s strength two machines were design and developed; their purpose is measuring the axial and perpendicular movements, traction and fatigue resistance of the handle and the fixing system.
The first one is for traction load, increasing the number of disks will increase the static load applied.
The second tests the resistance to dynamic loads, the disk linked to the motor intercept regularly the sample simulating opening movement.
