Flag-raising is a ceremony that is performed usually twice per day, in the morning and before the sunset. It can be performed manually or in case of high structure can be used a mechanism inside the pole to make the process easier.
In this case, the mechanism is made by a system with a motor that sends the motion from a driving pulley to the hanging rope; it is integrated into the pole base.
